Hey everyone,
Just wanted to share some exciting news that recently came my way! As many of you know, being a student-athlete at Troy University means balancing a lot – practices, games, travel, and, of course, a full course load. It's a grind, but it's a grind I absolutely love.
This past academic year (2024-25), all that hard work in the classroom paid off, and I'm incredibly proud to announce that I've been named to the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List!
This honor is for maintaining a GPA of 3.50 or higher, and it feels awesome to see that dedication recognized. It's a testament to the support system I have around me – my coaches, teammates, professors, and my family – who constantly encourage me to excel in every aspect of my life.
Being a Trojan means striving for excellence, not just on the field, but in everything we do. For me, that means pushing myself academically as much as I push myself athletically. It's about setting goals and putting in the effort to achieve them, whether it's understanding a complex concept in a lecture or perfecting a play on the field.
This achievement really motivates me to keep working hard and to continue setting a high standard for myself. It's a reminder that with focus and perseverance, you can achieve great things both in your sport and in your studies.
Thanks for all your support, and go Trojans!
Best,
Justin Powe
